Pokud jde o vzhled, Zephyrus M15 v kartáčované černé vypadá elegantně a stylově, i když vypadá podobně jako předchozí generace notebooků Zephyrus. Pokud však chcete jiný vzhled, M15 přichází v Prism Grey Colorway, která je stylizována trochu podobně jako G14 v tom, že obchoduje s logem ROG s jemnějším značkou Rog do rohu. Ať už je váš vkus jakýkoli v herním notebooku, Zephyrus M15 jistě potěší.
Co je ještě lepší, je to, že celkově vypadá Zephyrus M15 jako herní notebook, ale není dostatečně „hlasitý“, aby upoutal příliš mnoho pozornosti. To znamená, že jej určitě můžete použít při práci v kanceláři nebo v kavárně.

Faktor sledování
Pro jeho displej má Zephyrus M15 15.6palcová obrazovka s plným HD s rychlostí 240 Hz a štíhlé rámy. Zatímco vysoká frekvence obnovy nebude při sledování filmů/pořadů znatelná, štíhlé rámy hodně pomáhají při poskytování pohlcujícího zážitku z prohlížení. Ve spojení s dobrými barvami a skutečností, že se obrazovka stane spoustou jasným, je Zephyrus M15 určitě skvělý zápas pro sledování binge.
Zvukový výlet
Pokud jde o zvuk, Zephryus M15 zabalí stereofonní reproduktory, které mají slušnou kvalitu. Zatímco kvalita zvuku je pěkná, reproduktory prostě nejsou dostatečně hlasité, ať už pro hraní nebo pro sledování binge. Jistě, mohou pracovat, pokud chcete jen sledovat krátké video, ale na herní sezení nebo pro filmové maratony, sluchátka nebo externí reproduktory se velmi doporučuje.

Hlavní hlavou celé sbírky je Asus Rog Zephyrus Duo 15. Rog Zephyrus Duo 15 přichází s vlastní verzí ScreenPad Plus pro všechny vaše potřeby multitaskingu. Kromě toho tento notebook sportuje nejnovější procesor Intel Core i9 10. generace a super GPU NVIDIA RTX 2080.
Tento notebook zosobňuje těžký výkon vhodný pro každého hráče nebo tvůrce obsahu. Dodává se také s zobrazením frekvence 300 Hz, který podporuje technologii G-Sync NVIDIA pro hladší herní zážitek.
Vylepšená řada Zephyrus Strix

Jak dobře běží hry PlayStation na Ally Rog?
Ally Rog způsobila v herní komunitě docela bzučení. Osobně jsem nadšený vyhlídkou na vlastnictví kapesního herního počítače/konzoly pro hraní her, ke kterým bych jinak neměl přístup. Hlavně hraji na své PlayStation 5 (PS5). Přirozeně jsem byl zvědavý, jak budou některé z mých oblíbených her běžet na Ally Rog.

PlayStation Asia byla natolik laskavá, aby nám poskytla kódy pro tři z 12 titulů, které jsou nyní k dispozici na PC. Takto běželi na Rog Ally.
Rychlá poznámka: Hrál jsem v režimu Performance s jasem vznášejícím se kolem 50-55% v interiéru v klimatizované místnosti.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
Marvel’s Spider-Man, spolu s NBA 2K, je moje pohodlí hra. Kdykoli se cítím frustrovaný nebo jen špatný den, vystřelím jednu hru. Na Spider-Man jsem se bezcílně houpal kolem digitálního Manhattanu, který stavěl Insomniac.
Bylo to tak potěšení zjistit, že to teď můžu udělat na cestách Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Hraje docela zatraceně dobře na Ally Rog.
Nechal jsem zapnutý omezovač snímku, maximální maximální. Přesto jsem dosáhl pouze maxima 31 fps s poklesy až na 15 let. Vypadá to na papíře špatně, ale během skutečné hry je mnohem tolerovatelnější. Poklesy se obvykle odehrály během cutscenes. Většina hry se pohybovala kolem 25-30 fps.
Věděl jsem, že nikdy nedosáhne úrovně detailů a hladkosti, kterou dostanu na kombo PS5 a LG C2, na kterém obvykle hraji. Bylo tam spousta znatelných koktání, zejména během rušnějších částí hry. Ale nemyslel jsem si, že by to bylo rozbité hry.
Zvuk nebyl tak hlasitý, jak jsem doufal, že to bude i přes to, že hraji v docela klidné místnosti. Rozhodl jsem se to spárovat s Bluetooth Earbuds (OnePlus Buds Pro 2), abych získal co nejlépe zvuku. Nebylo to žádné zpoždění zvuku, co bylo velmi vítaným vývojem.
Moje průměrná hrací doba byla asi hodinu a 20 minut. To je s baterií pokaždé od 100% do 20%.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Pochází ze stejného studia a do značné míry je v podstatě stejná hra, Spider-Man: Miles Morales Neběžel příliš jinak od Spider-Man Remastered.
Hrál jsem ve stejných podmínkách: vnitřní místnost, střídavé, začaly na 100%, režim výkonu a nastavení středního jasu. Zajímavé je, že rámové poklesy došlo více během houpání na otevřeném světě a ne tolik během cutscenes. To by mohlo být kvůli rušnější verzi New Yorku kvůli událostem hry nastavené během vánoční sezóny.
Ale čísla se příliš nelišila. Pořád jsem maximálně maximálně 31 fps, většina hry se pohybovala kolem 25-30 fps a nejnižší pokles přicházející při 16 snímku za RPS.
Opět se nic nelomí a během hry je mnohem tolerovanější. Přirozeně musíte mít svá očekávání správně. Rog Ally je konec konců kapesní herní počítač.
Průměrná doba přehrávání je kolem jedné hodiny a 25 minut, přičemž asi 75% až 80% spotřebované výdrže baterie.
Vracet
Returnal is one of the titles I was most excited to try. I was curious about how the audio and controller rumble would translate to the ROG Ally. On the PS5, Audio and DualSense implementation are two of the game’s many strengths.
Due to audio cues on enemies’ locations, this game is best played with earbuds/headphones on. The experience on the ROG Ally isn’t quite 3D Audio on PS5 levels, but it’s as close as it gets.
The same can be said for the controller rumble. It’s not as precise nor finely implemented as the DualSense – that’s a unique feature after all. However, I was still thoroughly impressed with how the ROG Ally implemented rumble in certain sections of the game. The rumble effect is also a testament to how well-built the Ally is. Despite the internals shaking, the Ally never felt brittle nor that it would suddenly come apart.
Knowing this is a shooter game, I turned the framerate limiter off and reached highs of 115 fps. The framerate did dip to as low as 15 fps which is about the widest variance I got from any game I played using the Ally. This did affect gameplay especially during sections where I had to deal with multiple enemies.
I did experience plenty of crashes which isn’t ideal for a game like Returnal whose progress relies on you surviving as long as you can on a single run through. But this only happened during the first few minutes. After a while, it seemed like the ROG Ally had adjusted to the performance-demands of the game.
It took about an hour and 10 minutes before I had to plug-in the Ally to not lose a playthrough.
Remote Play?
Since the ROG Ally is essentially a handheld gaming PC, you can certainly install the Remote Play app on it. However, you can’t just immediately use the gamepad. To play Horizon: Forbidden West. and generally just run the app, I had to pair the Ally with my DualSense controller. You can map the gamepad so that it works but mapping isn’t an activity I enjoy nor did I have the time (I had to return the review unit) to do it. Other reviewers pointed to using a third-party app called Chiaki. But again, I didn’t have time to test it. I did see gameplay of it though so it seems to be working just fine.
Knowing that you can do all these on the Ally actually makes you question the upcoming Playstation Q handheld. Sure, the integration will likely be seamless. But its core function can already be replicated on other handhelds and handheld-like devices. I digress.
It’s worth noting that the relatively smooth experience I had with the ROG Ally was also aided by an internet connection that constantly hovers in the 250 mbps range along with a Wi-Fi 6 router.
The ROG Ally is Playstation friendly
If you want to know what it’s like playing Playstation 5 games on a handheld device, the ROG Ally is easily one of the best devices to play with. The gameplay isn’t quite as smooth but you shouldn’t expect it to be. And yes, you’ll find yourself reaching for the power adapter after a little over an hour of playthrough. But being able to play AAA titles on a handheld device still feels crazy to me.
Having started gaming on a family computer and covering tech for a living, it’s still mind-blowing to me how far technology has come. The stuff I only dreamed of as a little fat gamer is coming true thanks to the ROG Ally and its contemporaries.

Asus ROG Zephyrus M15: Available Configurations
In the US market, Asus offers two configurations of the ROZ Zephyrus M15. One option comes equipped with Intel Core i7-10750H processor 2.6 GHz (12M Cache, up to 5.0 GHz, 6 cores), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6 graphics, 15.6-inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) 16:9 anti-glare display, 8GB RAM, 1TB SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.
The second option features the same Intel Core i7-10750H processor 2.6 GHz, but other specs are slightly different. You get NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti 6GB GDDR6 graphics, 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) 16:9 anti-glare display, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and the same Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. The first option currently can be purchased through Best Buy for 1,550; the second option is available for 1,380. The Asus ROG Zephyrus M15 certainly provides a good balance between price and performance and appeals to budget-conscious gamers.
Design
If you’re familiar with the Zephyrus lineup, you might recognize some design features and elements on the ROG Zephyrus M15. The laptop upholds the sleek and minimalist theme, making it lighter and slimmer than many other gaming laptops. At 14.2 x 9.9 x 0.7 inches and roughly 4 pounds, it is indeed quite compact for a gaming laptop.
One thing you won’t find on this model is the big ROG logo. Instead, it was replaced with a minimalistic and subtle ROG plaque in the corner. The lid surface is filled up with the Prism dots (“prismatic dot design”, according to Asus) that light up in different colors depending on the color and light around them. The grippy rubber feet on the bottom will keep the laptop in its place.
Despite its slim design, the Asus ROG Zephyrus M15 offers enough ports for all your needs. On the left side, you’ll find an audio jack in, a 3.5mm audio jack out, a USB 3.2 port, Ethernet, full-sized HDMI 2.0b port, and a power supply port. On the right side, there are two more USB 3.1 Type-A ports and a USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port.
The keyboard is decent size and comfortable. Thanks to the N-Key rollover, users can repeatedly press a key quickly and it will be registered correctly. Gamers will certainly find this feature very useful. The keyboard comes with the RGB lighting, which can be configured via Asus Aura Sync to match with other compatible devices.
Display and Audio
The Asus ROG Zephyrus M15 comes with both 1080p and 4K displays. The 4K option offers a wider color gamut and a higher level of detail, making it ideal for content creators. However, the 1080p/144Hz “IPS-level” panel is colorful and sufficient enough for gaming. Both 15.6-inch displays are framed by slim 6.2-mm bezels, creating an expansive 81% screen-to-body ratio.
The laptop has downward-firing speakers that delver good quality audio. However, don’t expect anything groundbreaking as these are standard speakers found on most gaming laptop. If you’re looking for a more immersive gaming experience, plug in a pair of headphones.

Before getting into details of the newly arrived gaming laptop, let’s look at the new exciting feature – the MUX switch.
What is MUX switch?
MUX stands for Multiplexer. Modern gaming laptops have two graphics cards – integrated and discreet. Without a MUX switch, the discreet GPU talks to the processor, and then the graphics are displayed on the monitor. With a MUX switch, the dedicated GPU directly pushes the graphics to the display.
This switch allows you to enable or disable the integrated graphics card manually.

The premium M16 notebook comes with bigger 16 inches IPS WQXGA ROG Nebula display with 25601600 pixels resolution. Also, it has a 165 Hz refresh rate, 3 ms response time, 500 nits peak brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Also, it has a 94% screen-to-body ratio with Dolby vision. It runs on the Windows 11 OS and comes with MS office.

Concluding Thoughts
Asus has chosen the Intel 12th Gen Core i7 chip, which is less power efficient than Ryzen 5000H series processor. However, the 12th Gen Intel i9/i7 is faster than the AMD Ryzen 5900H in gaming performance. However, the Intel chips also consume more energy and dissipate more heat. Nevertheless, this is a true gaming beast.
Don’t expect lower temperatures or very long battery life despite the 90 WHr battery capacity. You can turn off the MUX switch and let the internal GPU do the basic tasks when not gaming to prolong the battery life. It is not only excellent for gaming but is ideal for photo or video editing, considering a powerful Intel processor, expandable ram support, and color-accurate display.
The better build quality and excellent display, DDR5 Ram makes it more expensive than other laptops with similar specs.
- An amazing display with a 165 Hz refresh rate
- The Intel 12700H is an incredible processor with 14 Cores and 20 threads.
- The 16 GB RAM is more than sufficient for gaming, but people looking for editing and other workflows can expand it up to 40 GB.
- Eye Watering Price – Not for everyone. At least I can’t afford it.
- A 1080P display would have been better with the RTX 3060 to push higher FPS.

Asus ROG Zephyrus M15
Asus has also introduced the slim and lightweight gaming laptop namely Asus ROG Zephyrus M15 with a gorgeous design.
The exterior build of the laptop is high-quality polycarbonate. The laptop is available in Two color options of Prism Black and Prism Gray.

The M15 comes with 15.6 inches FHD IPS Panel display with 1920 1080 pixels resolution. It has a 240Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time and offers 100% Adobe RGB color space.
The laptop comes with two configurations for processor chipsets i.e. 10th Gen Intel-Core i7-10875H (8 Core) and i7-10750H (6 Core). Sadly, there are no Ryzen variants.
It runs on Windows 10 Operating System.
As far as the GPU is concerned, it offers two choices – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti (LU).
Notably, the memory arrives with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM (Dual-Channel) with a 3200MHz frequency rate.
The internal storage space has 2 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 3 4 slots with RAID 0 support.

The starting price of the Asus ROG M15 laptop in India is INR 1,39,990. The laptop will be available from Asus retailers, Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance, Croma, and Vijay Sales.

Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 is a stylish gaming laptop and comes with a lustrous Prismatic film visible through CNC-milled perforations.
This laptop offers extra portability with its slim and light body chassis.
It comes with a 3D mic array system, which captures clear audio and the 2-way AI Noise cancellation eliminates background sound.
Powering the machine is the latest 11th Gen Intel Core i7.11800H with eight cores and 16 threads.

These are the new Asus ROG gaming notebooks with 10th-gen Intel processors and NVIDIA RTX Super GPUs
ROG’s line-up of 10th-gen Intel H-series Core i7 and Core i9 processors paired with NVIDIA’s newest GeForce RTX 2070 Super and RTX 2080 Super GPUs gaming notebooks wasn’t just limited to the eye-catchy ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 that Kenny Yeo checked out.
While that gaming notebook headlined ROG’s 2020 Intel-based line-up, the company also announced a few other models that caters to a wide range (or type) of gamers. Have a look.
ROG Zephyrus M15
Unlike the Zephyrus Duo with its secondary display feature, consider the Zephyris M15 a traditional gaming notebook. Available in Brushed Black, Prism Black and Prism Gray tints, the notebook is encased in a reinforced metal chasis that feels very nice to the touch. The Prism colour options also have a subtle prismatic effect and personally I’m happy to have a gaming-grade notebook that I can bring to a work meeting without getting embarrasing giggles from my non-gaming co-workers (yes, working professionals who game will know).
According to Asus, the Zephyrus M15 is 18.9mm thin and less than 2kg, making it „25% thinner and 45% lighter“ than typical 15-inch gaming notebooks. It’s also packed with some serious fire power: a 10th gen Intel Core i7-10875H CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU is standard issue, along with two M.2 NVMe PCIE SSD 1TB in RAID 0.
ROG Strix G15 (Electro Punk)
The Strix G15 Electro Punk (named for the hot pink rims around the chasis) is a little unique because I think it’s the first ever ROG gaming notebook that’s specifically targeted at female gamers. Supposedly inspired by a cyberpunk aesthetic, I thought it looks the best amongst the new models that ROG showcased at the private media event. and I’m not even the targeted customer!
The G15 comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a fast 240Hz refresh rate, and like the Zephyrus M15 above, up to 1TB of SSD with Raid 0 support. Size wise, the gaming notebook is just shy of 2.4kg in weight and 2.5cm thin.
ROG Strix G17
The highlight of the ROG Strix Scar 17 isn’t the fact that it comes with a 17.3-inch display, but that same display has a refresh rate of 300Hz. An overkill, in my opinion but I know of some professional esports gamers who will appreciate this capability.
As per standard for all of these new ROG gaming notebooks for 2020, the Strix Scar 17 comes with the new 10th generation Intel Core i9-10980-HK CPU, two NVMe SSDs that run in RAID 0 mode and a third SSD slot for future storage upgrade. It also comes with a unique cooling system that include four heatsinks to cool the RTX 2080 Super. Unique to all of these ROG gaming notebooks, as compared to its competitors, is the use of an exotic liquid metal compound applied onto the CPU to improve heat transfer to the heatsink (and thus better dissipation. According to Asus, this application process is extremely difficult due to the complexity of it and is patented by them.
